Promote Education and Inculcate Academic Culture
One Senior member of each committee at each level of ABSVM should come forward to look into the educational needs of Vishwakarma students in their local area.
It is observed that girls lack enough opportunities of education. We can't ignore the fact that an educated lady can build a strong foundation for family and thereby the society. Therefore there is an urgent need to act in this area of education.
In every meeting of ABSVM committee, some needy students should be identified and help should be extended to them. Help need not be purely monetary, but it can also be in the form of arranging books, free tuition arrangements through some teachers, material for practice etc.
Vishwakarma bureaucrats in Government offices, Banks, Schools, Colleges, Factories or Corporate houses, should suggest, what all can be done for Vishwakarma students. ABSVM officers should put in efforts to meet these suggestions. We should arrange some industry visits for our students. If there is some Science Museum around, then a visit for Vishwakarma students should be arranged at least one per year.
Teachers or Senior college students should arrange a workshop for practicals. Material that is not very costly can be purchased from the market and used repeatedly. Many practicals can be done by small investments. We need to discuss this need with senior students, who can contribute in this area.
All these efforts will encourage the community for education, students will also come forward for social acts and inculcate good social values in them. Positive efforts and results will promote the financial contribution at the time of need and help students in their higher studies.
Senior citizens should contribute time and facilitate such projects. Books can be collected from community and libraries are promoted. Students can have books from book banks and return old books after completion of the session. Start such good practices.
Senior citizens should share moral stories with the children of community. Tell stories from history of India and abroad. Some educational videos or movies can also be projected. This way we can do much more by gathering small contributions from many in different areas.
All these practices in an organized manner will lead to the establishment of 'Educational Centres' or 'Kaushal and Kalaa Kendras'. We need to start acting in this direction as soon as possible.
